Retail and ecommerce assortment
A buyer may need a coordinated set of colors, dimensions and price positions. The RFQ should separate mat construction from strap, carrier, wrap, insert, barcode or fulfillment-pack scope. State pieces per color, artwork revision, individual-pack requirement, master-carton basis and the destination used for freight questions.
- Which colors and dimensions are mandatory?
- Who supplies barcode or label information?
- What pack data must the factory confirm?

Studios, gyms and institutional programs
Repeated-use environments may prioritize storage, cleaning method, surface feel, dimensions and replacement planning differently from retail. Describe the floor environment, use frequency and storage method as buyer context, but ask suppliers for exact-item information rather than predicting durability or hygiene outcomes.
- How will mats be stored and cleaned?
- Which geometry works with the facility layout?
- Is one sample enough to review the intended configuration?

Promotional and event merchandise
Artwork control and timing questions can dominate these programs. Give the print area, supplied file format, target colors and placement; request a proof or sample tied to a revision. Do not treat an event date as a guaranteed delivery commitment until the supplier confirms production and shipment assumptions.
- What approval controls artwork release?
- Are setup and sample charges separated?
- Which timing milestones remain estimates?
